A GROUP of award-winning Sydney hairdressers will take part in a blow-wave marathon to raise money for victims of the Haiti earthquake.
Tomorrow’s blow-dry blitz is being organised by Blow Off, a group started by Gilly Parry that aims to unite hairdressers for charity. The Red Cross says 1 million people have been hurt or left homeless by the quake.
Hamish Glianos, whose salon People Hairdressing in Surry Hills will host the event, said it was good so many people in the industry had supported the cause. ”There has been such a great response … lots of people want to get involved,” he said.
For a $35 donation, customers can have their hair blow-waved, or, for an extra $100, they can have a cut, too. A number of celebrities, including actresses Emma Lung and Claudia Karvan, will attend. (Source)
Emma Lung attended the judging of the Cleo Bachelor of the Year contest yesterday, where 30 judges were shortlisting entries down to the final 50 most eligable bachelors in Sydney, Australia. You can now find 6 pictures in our gallery – enjoy the new eye candy everyone!
I made and uploaded 25 captures from The Boys Are Back – unfortunately, Emma’s part was even smaller than I had expected and appearantly they also cut out the sex scene she had to do with Clive Owen. But nevertheless, I think she did fantastic as friendly bartender Mia and hopefully her other scenes will be featured on the DVD! Fingers crossed!
Happy 2010 everyone! To start the new year I have uploaded a couple of rare captures from The Cooks (2004-05) – click here to see them! I really can’t wait to see what this year holds for Emma and her career so keep checking back for all the latest news on our girl!

With her immaculate silver hair and sophisticated demeanour Jan Logan shocked her friends and supporters by inviting them to a warehouse in Waterloo to celebrate her 20th anniversary (on Nov 26).
Fortunately glow sticks and disco biscuits weren’t required, with the warehouse in question the furniture store Chuck & Bob’s, which had been transformed with dining tables into an elegant restaurant for the evening.
Familiar faces were scattered around the room from past Jan Logan campaigns, including the exquisite actresses Emma Lung and Sibylla Budd. (…) Source)
So far I have only found one picture from the event – if you have more please send them in!

My Place is an ambitious period drama for kids, writes Greg Hassall. (…) In addition to its impressive young cast, My Place features such notable adult actors as Susie Porter, Dan Wyllie, Sacha Horler, Chris Haywood and Emma Lung. Aimed at children aged between eight and 12 and supported by an interactive website, it is a canny choice as the launch program for the ABC’s new digital children’s channel, ABC3.
There’s a really large article on the project here.
I uploaded a few new random pictures to the gallery such as 2 new stills from Crush, 2 photos from the “Body Of Lies” Premiere back in 2008, 2 unsorted and lastly, screencaptures from Triangle (sorry for the tag, will add better ones once the DVD is released). I hope you enjoy them! ![]()
On another note, I have now created an official Twitter account for this site, so if you always want to know everything in Emma’s career as it happens
